I have been making both jewelry and drawings for many years. The two practices have not often connected directly; when I was making jewelry it was always quite rigid, and when I was making drawings they were always very wild.
I imagined one world with rules, the other without. Bringing them together like this gives me a feeling that I have been waiting a long time to experience.

The fossil record is fairly abundant with intriguing evidence of the evolution of insects, flora, fauna and marine animals as well as that of our own species, homo sapiens. It is easy enough to conjecture and theorize about the past, piecing together where we have evolved from, using the wealth of artifacts from the archeological record, but what I wonder through my work is this: where do we go from here? What will be our next step as homo sapiens in the process of evolution?
I believe that the next phase of our growth will involve reaching more deeply and profoundly into our imaginations, into the unseen realms of consciousness and the mind, to deepen our interconnectedness with each other and the earth—leading to a transcendence of the material realms of space and time into a wonderland of new ideas and non-local possibilities.
In my art jewelry practice, I harness the dual forces of imagery and text from the historical record to intuitively craft a dream-like visual language in glass and metal that embraces the mind and the imagination as a powerful mythopoetic tool for critical thinking, sentience and change, to move us forward metaphysically into the next chapter of our evolution. The method I work with transforms random imagery and text from the far-to-recent past into miniature multi-nuanced and overlapping frescos of meaning that are made to last lifetimes, and speaks to the collective unconscious realm that we all share.
My intuitively designed and layered narrative amulets in vitreous enamel and metal extend an invitation to the viewer to become a magician for a moment, an alchemist in reverie, a shaman dreaming a new world. They function as a bridge between the physical, material realm and the invisible, unseen and mysterious territory of the mind. The next iteration of humanity will blossom and metamorphosize in this virtually uncharted interface with the talismanic power of art jewellery playing a supporting role.

I’m always attracted by the nature. Most of my inspirations come from the delicacy of plants, the changing of seasons… For me, it always like lessons of life. Germinate and grow, bloom and wilt, fruit and reborn, according to the cycle of the seasons. They recycle and never stop.

In 2016, I left Taiwan and moved to France, started my career and new life. At the first few years, it was hard to adapt to a new environment and different culture, with strong homesick. At my latest work, I found back the familiarity of traditional painting, which I learned from my mom when I was little. It’s the best way to capture the delicate of nature in front of me, and to cure my homesick. From spring to winter, and another spring, little by little, layer by layer, through the very long process like meditation, it helps me to find back the inner peace and confidence again.

My training as jewelry began in Buenos Aires were I live. I have always thought to combine the beauty of my pieces with the possibility of expressing my feelings and ideas. I prefer to work with metals and color. I try to show a story with my jewelry.

These pieces that I present and their relationship with the idea of G&E is based on my thinking that art general and jewelry in particular as an expression of it, must reserve a part to express social changes.
